Senior UX Designer

About the role
SmartAC.com is looking for an experienced UX designer with some UI skills to add to our growing team. Applicants should have a strong background in UX, with research, user testing and journey mapping experience, and enough UI chops to do production level work following our design system. Here's what you will be doing
  • Low-fi to hi-fi interactive prototypes + wireframes
  • Product + process flows for solutions
  • System, product + process mapping
  • Defining user personas, stories, scenarios, goals + journeys
  • Competitive Analysis + user research documentation
  • Conclusions + next step recommendations
  • User interviews, testing + reporting
  • Writing first drafts and collaboration on copy
  • Designing the flow of products from web to mobile to processes
  • Working closely with partners to build what’s best for their users
    • Tool You'll Use:
  • Traditional UX methodologies
  • Design Thinking principles + techniques
  • Figma & Miro Primarily
  • Real-time collaboration + teamwork
  • Pen, paper, markers + whiteboards
    • Requirements
  • 3+ years of UX design experience
  • 1+ years of UI design for digital solutions for mobile, web + responsive platforms
  • Ability to lay out digital data + information hierarchies
  • Up-to-date knowledge of popular products, visual trends + interface patterns
    • Bonus Skills (not required)
  • Experience in building elegant solutions for complex problems
  • More than just one in-market consumer-facing product across multiple-platforms
  • Experience writing pithy, inspirational + convincing marketing copy
  • Strong UI skills in additional to UX
